12 Participants signed-up for the challenge with the goal to make a healthier versions of themselves, of course, that includes our What's Hot Manila challenger, Ms. Paui Lazatin. The room was filled with mixed emotions, each of the participants were interviewed and had a "Before Photo" for documentation.
As the program started, Mr. Rosalio Valenzuela, the General Manager of Herbalife Nutrition PH gave some inspiring messages to all the Media Fitness Challenge. "We came here for a reason, You came here to be fit and fab... and join us to make this world healthier and happier." said Mr. Rosalio Valenzuela.

Coach Dwan Abantao, Fitness Coach of Herbalife Nutrition PH initiated a heart-pumping HIIT or what we call High Intensity Interval Training. Before starting the exercise, she taught everyone how to get the Target Heartrate of each participant. Reaching your target heartrate is very important because we need it to get optimum results during our workouts.
After sweating it all out, it is important to replenish all the nutrients used up during the workout, We had Herbalife F1 Nutritional Shake to refuel us and supply our bodies with protein. This is very helpful especially post-workout. We tried out their new flavor, Dulce De Leche.
We were divided into 3 groups and assigned to our Coaches. Here comes the weigh-in and assessment part. We were all weighed in and assessed. Most of us fall on the Weight Loss Program. Majority had a high level of visceral fats, older metabolic age as compared to our biological ages, in simpler words, we are really in a bad shape. Having assessed, we were given a specific meal plan and a set of Herbalife Nutrition products to use during the Challenge.
For 21 days, we need to modify our lifestyle and most particularly we need to correct our eating habits. Most of the participants admitted to skip breakfast or that they focus on eating heavy carbs during breakfast and lack protein. So the program is to have Herbalife F1 Nutritional Shake for breakfast as it contains good level of nutrients to jump start our day. The meal plan also included snacks in between breakfast, lunch and dinner. Calorie counting is also important in the process as you will be more conscious of what goes in your mouth. Healthier food options is also a must, we also need to avoid sugary foods and remove junk foods in the list. We were also instructed to drink 3-4 liters of water. As most of the time that we feel hungry, it is not hunger, but it is actually thirst that we feel. We were also advised to exercise as to help our bodies to be fit again from a prolonged sedentary lifestyles.

After 14 days, we have seen visible results and changes in our weight and body composition. Coach Chappy Callanta gave some great workout routines to help us in our fitness journey.
