Makati, Philippines, April 24, 2018 -- The Ayala Foundation's flagship education program, CENTEX, celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year. To mark this occasion, Ayala Foundation in partnership with the Ayala Multi-Purpose Cooperative is hosting a benefit concert, "MAD4Arts".
CENTEX, in its 20 years of existence proved to be a success and life-changing. CENTEX program offers bright children from underprivileged families access to quality primary public education. It gives students the opportunity to excel not only in their academics but in their talents in the arts, particularly in music and dance as well. Through the after-hours program, the students are given the chance to hone their skills in other areas of learning and development.
The Ayala Foundation's CENTEX is working hand-in-hand with the Department of Education in giving our Filipino students quality education. CENTEX currently has two campuses-- one in Tondo, Manila and the other in Bauan, Batangas. The aim of CENTEX is also to reach the grassroots, thus the program has also trained over 1000 teachers together with the Principals from public elementary schools across the country, bringing the CENTEX Education Model.
