One of the shockers this week is the news of the biggest crocodile ever caught in a small province south of Manila.
After watching this 21-foot crocodile devour a water buffalo right before their very eyes, the villagers in a small town of Agusan finally decided to capture the animal that’s been haunting their rivers. Initially, traps made of wood was set up but these were just promptly destroyed by the croc. They made steel trap cages after and finally succeeded in capturing the giant. Here are the pictures to prove it.
Agusan Mayor tries to measure it with his hands but it is just too big.
Amazingly, it took 100 men to pull this giant crocodile to the shore.
This giant was also said to have eaten a man who has gone missing last July. It will not be released in the wild because of the grave threat it poses but will be living in a new eco-tourism park that will be set up in Agusan.
